Business Terms
Last updated: 6 June 2026 · Applies to Fletcha Eats, operating in South Africa.
These terms apply when you register and operate a business (restaurant, shop, service provider) on Fletcha Eats. They are additional to the main Terms & Conditions.
1. Registration
- Provide accurate business name, category, contact details, address and GPS coordinates.
- Upload a logo, cover image and at least one product/menu item.
- Set the payment methods you accept (Cash, EFT, Capitec Pay, Yoco, etc.).
- Set your opening hours so the system can show you as open or closed to customers.
2. Approval
- New businesses start in "Pending" status and are not visible to customers.
- An administrator reviews your submission within 1–3 business days.
- Once approved your business shows on Home, Search, Categories and Nearby Businesses.
- You may be asked for additional verification (e.g. business registration number, tax number).
3. Order management
- A customer places an order — you see it instantly in "Current Orders".
- For cash orders you may start preparing immediately.
- For pre-paid orders you wait until you verify the proof of payment.
- When ready, tap Ready for Pickup — online drivers are notified.
- A driver accepts, collects the order and delivers it.
4. Verifying payment proofs
- Open the order, view the customer's uploaded proof, and check it against your bank/Capitec/Yoco notification.
- If genuine, tap Payment Verified.
- If suspicious, contact the customer first, then Support. Never mark verified without seeing the funds.
5. Preparing orders
- Prepare orders accurately and on time.
- Package items so they survive the trip (use sealed bags, secure lids).
- If you cannot prepare an order (out of stock, equipment broken), cancel it as early as possible with a clear reason.
6. Ready for Pickup
- Only tap this once the order is fully prepared and packaged.
- The system immediately creates a delivery request and notifies online drivers.
- Hand the order ONLY to the assigned driver shown in the order screen — verify their name and photo.
7. Communication with drivers
- Use the order chat — do not negotiate side deals.
- If a driver damages or tampers with goods, report it through Support with a photo.
8. Fees
- Platform commission is taken on each completed order and is shown in your dashboard.
- Delivery fees are paid by the customer to the driver, not by you.
9. Suspension
We may suspend or remove a business that:
- Repeatedly cancels orders or runs out of stock without updating availability.
- Sells goods that are illegal or unsafe.
- Verifies payments fraudulently or marks orders ready before payment.
- Receives serious customer complaints about hygiene, freshness or safety.
