Cookie Policy
Last updated: 6 June 2026 · Applies to Fletcha Eats, operating in South Africa.
1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) are small pieces of data your device stores so a website or app can remember things between visits — like staying signed in.
2. Why we use them
- Essential — to keep you signed in, remember your role (customer / driver / business) and keep your cart while you check out. Without these the app cannot work.
- Preferences — to remember your theme, language and saved locations.
- Analytics — basic, privacy-respecting counts of which pages are used. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
- Security — to detect suspicious activity and prevent account hijacking.
3. We don't sell your data to advertisers
Fletcha Eats does not run third-party advertising on the platform and does not allow ad-tech cookies. We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
4. Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser or device settings. Doing so will sign you out and clear your preferences.
