Personal Shopper Disclaimer
Last updated: 6 June 2026 · Applies to Fletcha Eats, operating in South Africa.
1. What "Personal Shopper" means
A Personal Shopper request is when a customer asks a Fletcha Eats driver to shop for items on their behalf from a chosen store and deliver them. The driver acts as your runner.
2. Store names are shown for convenience only
When the app shows the names of supermarkets, pharmacies or other stores (for example: Boxer, Shoprite, Spar, Pick n Pay, Clicks, etc.) it is purely so you can tell the driver where to shop.
- We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of these stores unless we explicitly say so on the store's page.
- The logos and names belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification.
3. Product availability and prices are controlled by the store
- Stock, pricing, promotions and brand availability are entirely determined by the chosen store at the time of shopping.
- If a product is out of stock the driver will message you for a replacement decision.
- You pay the actual till price plus the delivery and shopping fee — we do not set the price.
4. Driver discretion and limits
- Drivers can refuse age-restricted items (alcohol, cigarettes) unless you can prove your age on delivery.
- Drivers can refuse very heavy, fragile, perishable or unsafe items.
- Drivers can decline a request that exceeds the agreed shopping budget.
5. Receipts
The driver will share a photo of the till slip on delivery. Always check the slip and the items before paying. Open a dispute within 24 hours if something is missing or wrong.
6. Liability
Fletcha Eats is not responsible for the quality, freshness, packaging or safety of items sold by a store to a Personal Shopper driver. Any product complaint must be raised directly with that store, with the till slip as proof of purchase. We will help where we reasonably can.
